1. Agreement and authority

These Terms govern access to and use of Keyglot's websites, applications, APIs, translation management, publishing, delivery, AI-assisted features, support, and related services. By creating an account, accepting an invitation, purchasing a plan, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use Keyglot for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization; in that case, you includes the organization.

You must be legally capable of entering a contract and meet the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Accounts and organization administration

Provide accurate information, protect authentication credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by Keyglot's breach of these Terms.

Organization owners and administrators control membership, roles, projects, billing, content, and integrations. Their actions may affect your access and data. You are responsible for assigning appropriate permissions and for obtaining any notices or consents required from your users and team members.

3. The service

Keyglot provides tools to organize translation keys and locales, edit and review translations, create immutable publications, promote or roll back environment pointers, deliver published artifacts, and integrate localization workflows with applications. Features and limits depend on the selected plan and may evolve over time.

Development content may follow saved work while production content changes only through the applicable publication workflow. You are responsible for reviewing content and testing releases before using them in production.

4. Customer content and license

You retain ownership of source strings, translations, files, project configuration, and other content you submit. You grant Keyglot and its service providers a worldwide, non-exclusive, limited license to host, copy, transmit, transform, and otherwise process that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service, comply with law, and follow your documented instructions.

You represent that you have the rights and lawful basis needed to submit and process the content. Do not submit unlawful content, secrets in ordinary translation fields, malicious code, or data subject to special restrictions unless Keyglot has expressly agreed in writing to support it.

5. AI assistance and translation memory

AI features generate suggestions or drafts and may use third-party inference providers configured for the service. Outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable for your context. You are responsible for human review, required notices, and decisions to accept, publish, or use an output.

Accepted content may contribute to translation memory as described in the product and Privacy Policy. Translation-memory reuse does not transfer ownership of your underlying project or disclose private workspace context. Keyglot may apply normalization and quality controls to improve matching and reduce unnecessary provider requests.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

• violate law, intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• access another tenant's data or bypass authentication, authorization, quotas, or plan controls;
• probe, scan, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the service or its providers, except under a written security-testing authorization;
• introduce malware, abusive automation, or content intended to exploit models, operators, or other users;
• resell or provide the service as a standalone competing product unless a written agreement permits it;
• reverse engineer the service except to the limited extent a restriction is prohibited by law;
• use the service or AI outputs to make unlawful high-impact decisions about individuals.

We may investigate suspected abuse and take proportionate steps to protect users and systems.

7. Credentials, integrations, and delivery

API keys, publishable keys, delivery tokens, webhooks, and provider connectors can grant significant access. Store server credentials only in protected server environments, scope and rotate them appropriately, and revoke them when no longer needed. You are responsible for third-party applications and endpoints you connect, including their availability, security, terms, and data practices.

Published artifacts are immutable, but availability can depend on networks, caches, browsers, and third-party infrastructure. Configure application fallbacks appropriate to your use case.

8. Plans, fees, taxes, and renewals

Paid plans, billing intervals, entitlements, and usage limits are shown before purchase or in the billing interface. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically for the selected interval until canceled. You authorize our payment processor to charge the applicable fees and taxes using your selected method.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase. You are responsible for taxes other than taxes based on Keyglot's net income. Failed or overdue payment may result in plan restriction or suspension after any required notice. Cancellation takes effect as shown in the billing interface; access continues through any paid period unless law or the purchase terms provide otherwise.

9. Trials, previews, and beta features

Trials, free plans, previews, and beta features may have reduced limits, change without notice, or be discontinued. They are provided for evaluation and may be less reliable than generally available features. Do not rely on a preview feature for a critical production obligation unless Keyglot expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

10. Service changes, availability, and support

We may modify the service to improve security, legal compliance, performance, or functionality. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid materially reducing the core functionality of a paid plan during its current term without notice or a suitable remedy.

Maintenance, incidents, provider failures, and events outside reasonable control may interrupt access. Support channels and response targets depend on the plan; unless expressly agreed, response times are targets rather than guarantees.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time and may cancel a subscription through the available billing controls. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a security risk, unlawful use, material breach, unpaid fees, harm to other users, or legal requirement. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure.

Either party may terminate for an uncured material breach after reasonable written notice, or immediately if the breach cannot be cured. After termination, access ends and content is deleted or retained according to the Privacy Policy, legal obligations, and any export period stated in the product or order. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive, including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms.

12. Ownership and feedback

Keyglot and its licensors own the service, software, designs, documentation, and related intellectual property, excluding customer content. Subject to these Terms, Keyglot grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the applicable term. Feedback may be used without restriction or obligation, provided it does not identify you or disclose confidential content without permission.

13. Confidentiality

Each party may receive non-public information that a reasonable person would understand to be confidential. The receiving party will use it only to perform under these Terms, protect it with reasonable care, and disclose it only to personnel and providers who need it and are bound by confidentiality duties, or as required by law after notice where legally permitted.

14. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service, beta features, AI outputs, and third-party integrations are provided as is and as available. Keyglot disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. These disclaimers do not limit warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, or data, even if advised of the possibility. Except for liability that cannot lawfully be limited, your payment obligations, or misuse of the other party's intellectual property or confidential information, each party's aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount paid or payable for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. For a free service, Keyglot's aggregate liability will not exceed one hundred US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

16. General terms

Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control. You may not assign these Terms without Keyglot's consent, except with a merger or sale of substantially all relevant assets; Keyglot may assign them as part of a reorganization or business transfer. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. If a term is unenforceable, the remainder remains effective. These Terms, an applicable order, and referenced policies form the entire agreement and control over prior discussions about the service.

Any governing law or venue published in the operator details on this page applies unless a separate written agreement controls. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.

17. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. We will update the effective date and provide reasonable notice of material changes when required. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Contact the address shown on this page with legal or contractual questions.
