Questions about building and shipping with Keyglot.
Clear answers about translation workflows, releases, delivery, AI assistance, billing, and account behavior.
What is Keyglot?
Keyglot manages translation keys, locale values, review state, immutable publications, and delivery credentials in one controlled workflow. It is designed for application copy rather than document translation.
Can I import an existing translation project?
Yes. Import JSON from the translations workspace, review the detected keys and locale values, then save the changes. Existing keys are updated without replacing unrelated content.
What happens when I publish?
Keyglot captures an immutable version of the selected translation content. Development and production use independent pointers, so teams can test a release before promoting it.
Can I roll back a release?
Yes. Rollback moves an environment pointer to an earlier immutable publication. It does not rewrite or delete newer translation work.
How are translations delivered?
Applications fetch published artifacts through scoped delivery credentials. Immutable, cacheable releases keep runtime delivery separate from editing and review work.
What happens during a service or network interruption?
Published artifacts remain separate from the editing control plane. Applications can retain the last successful payload and bundle fallback content so an interrupted request does not make the interface unusable.
How does AI-assisted translation work?
Eligible plans can request drafts from configured AI providers. Drafts remain reviewable and are never published until a user accepts and releases them. Approved translations can be reused through translation memory.
Does translation memory cross organizations?
Eligible normalized translations may be reused without exposing organization identity or surrounding private project context. A memory match is still presented as a candidate for review.
How should credentials be used?
Keep server credentials in protected server environments, use the least privilege required, and rotate or revoke credentials when their scope changes. Public applications should use only credentials specifically designated as publishable.
What happens when a plan limit is reached?
Keyglot prevents creation of additional resources covered by the limit. Existing translation content is not deleted merely to fit a lower plan.
Can I change or cancel a plan?
Organization owners can review the active plan and billing state in the dashboard. Changes and cancellation timing are shown before confirmation.
How do I contact support?
Signed-in users can open a conversation from the Support area, keep related messages together, and follow replies from the same workspace.
